Shourya, a new Kannada film starring Darshan, Madalasa Sharma and Reema had its audio launched recently in Bangalore. Sadhu Kokila has directed the film apart from composing the music. The Vice President of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce BN Gangadhar released the album.



The film’s a remake of a Telugu film, Shouryam starring Gopichand, Anushka. It narrates the story of a cop who goes searching for his sister. Darshan, who had recently starred in Porki, is pinning high hopes on Shourya. He had earlier worked with Sadhu Kokila in films such as ‘Suntaragali’ and ‘Anatharu’. Speaking at the event, Sadhu Kokila applauded Darshan for doing a commendable job in the film and hoped that the album of Shourya becomes a huge success.

Kunal Ganjawala, Chinmayi, Tippu, Javed Ali, Anuradha Bhat, Kailas Kher, Ranjeeth and Chaitra have sung five songs in the film. Yogaraj Bhat, Dr V Nagendra Prasad, Tushar Ranganath and V Sridhar have penned the lyrics. This action film is all set to hit the screens on July 9.






Apart from this film, Darshan will hop on to his next two films Prince and Chingari. He has also signed another period film ‘Sangolli Rayanna’ which will go on floors later this year. He surely loves challenges!
